Risa Cermak Interiors is a Tampa Bay–based vintage and antique home shop for people who believe the best rooms are collected, not ordered overnight — and that a room should never look like it came as a set.
We curate vintage, antique, and limited-edition home pieces for those who love layered interiors, meaningful objects, and the thrill of finding something they simply won’t see twice. Not mass-market. Not reproduction. Not pulled from the same shelf as everyone else’s. Just storied finds for homes with personality, polish, and a little bit of mischief.
Founder Risa Cermak’s eye was shaped by a lifelong love of interiors — from custom window treatments and home furnishings to the family business and years spent devouring the pages of Architectural Digest, Veranda, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, and every layered room she could study, save, and mentally rearrange. Long before Pinterest boards and Instagram saves, she was tearing pages from magazines, slipping them into page protectors, and filing them into notebooks for “someday.”
Her love of vintage started early. She began refinishing furniture at fourteen, was roaming flea markets and antique shops before she graduated high school, and furnished her first home — a 1925 Florida bungalow in the Old Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa — with pieces found in thrift stores, garage sales, antique shops, and anywhere else a good story might be hiding.
Along the way, she developed a lifelong obsession with to-the-trade textiles, tailored trims, glossy lacquer, wicker, bamboo, Chinoiserie, unapologetic color and contrast, and anything vintage, antique, or just quirky enough to get people talking.
Today, that eye goes into every RCI find — from vintage barware and blue-and-white porcelain to tabletop, decorative objects, art, accessories, and one-of-a-kind pieces that make a home feel layered and lived in.
We believe vintage brings depth, character, and soul into a room. It keeps homes from feeling flat, overly matched, or catalog-basic, while giving beautiful pieces another life.
