Description

Nothing says Old Florida quite like a leopard lounging around the house as though he owns it.

Likely dating to the 1970s or 1980s, this large-scale decorative sculpture depicts a spotted leopard draped languidly across a wonderfully textured, naturalistic base. His relaxed pose, expressive face, and original hand-painted finish give him far more personality than a newly manufactured decorative object.

At 26.5 inches long and approximately 20 pounds, he has enough size and presence to hold his own in a room. Place him on a broad console, low bookcase, hearth, pedestal, or substantial cocktail table—or let him preside over a garden room or covered veranda.

He would be especially good surrounded by wicker, bamboo, palms, tortoiseshell, glossy color, and unapologetically collected interiors.
