Vintage Messel Green Wicker Flamingo Planters, Mother and Baby Pair

You loved our last wicker flamingo so much that she flew the coop almost immediately. We hunted until we found this charming mother-and-baby pair, then dressed them in the very same Messel Green.

A wonderfully whimsical pair of vintage wicker flamingos—a statuesque mother and her smaller companion—freshly finished in the iconic, garden-inspired shade of Messel Green.

With their graceful curved necks, long woven legs and charmingly detailed feet, these sculptural birds bring instant personality to a sunroom, pool house, covered porch or Palm Beach-inspired interior. Each flamingo incorporates a generously sized open basket within its body, making the pair as useful as they are decorative.

Fill them with orchids or leafy plants, use them to hold rolled hand towels beside the pool, or let them serve as the most charming barware companions imaginable. They are equally fabulous left empty and displayed simply as sculptural objects.

The graduated scale is particularly special: together, the mother-and-baby pairing creates a collected installation with far more presence than a single figure.

Very good vintage condition. The pair has been freshly painted in Messel Green while retaining the character and texture of the original woven wicker. Minor irregularities, variations in the weave and other age-appropriate signs of previous use may be present. Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of the description.

Plants, linens, barware and other styling accessories are not included.
